Why One’s Or Two’s?

I know I'm not alone when I say it's sometimes so hard to cook for yourself at home, or if you're a couple, for the two of you. For so many years I have had the challenge of buying the right ingredients for the food I wanted, just to find that I had to throw out more than 50% of them later when I couldn't finish them. In this fast paced world, convenience reigns supreme and we all are guilty of leaving what's in the fridge to go to waste when we don't want to take some time to use it again. That's why I've created One's or Two's. I'm on a journey to show you how you at home can eat amazing delicious meals, again and again, without breaking the bank and throwing half of it in the bin! Along the way I will be trying out some of the cities top new food spots and getting some really great inspiration for my dishes. I hope you enjoy!

One of my all time favourite comfort foods is lamb tagine. I love the rich flavour of the lamb cooked low and slow with these sweet and savoury flavours. This dish is all in the preparation, lots of ingredients, but once ready, it’s a cinch to make, enjoy! Continue reading →
